Overview

Pricevo subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, refunds, and applicable VAT on our behalf.

Our general policy is that subscription charges are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced, except in the specific circumstances described below. We encourage you to evaluate the platform thoroughly during the free trial period before subscribing.

Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken during the trial period. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. At the end of the trial, your subscription begins and the first payment is charged.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable plan price.

Eligible Refunds

We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:

Within 14 days of first payment

If you are a new subscriber and have not made more than 5 searches on the platform, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge. This is our satisfaction guarantee for new users.

Technical failure

If a documented technical failure on our side has prevented you from accessing the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours in a given billing period, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the affected days.

Duplicate charges

If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full promptly.

Billing errors

Any charge made in error (wrong amount, wrong plan) will be corrected and the difference refunded.

When in doubt, just email us. We prefer resolving concerns directly over formal disputes, and we are a small team that genuinely cares about your experience.

Non-refundable Cases

The following are generally not eligible for a refund:

  • Charges for months already used after the 14-day new subscriber window
  • Failure to cancel before a renewal date — we recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal
  • Forgetting to use the service during a paid period
  • Dissatisfaction with market data or pricing insights (the data reflects publicly available listings at the time of analysis)
  • Account suspension due to Terms of Service violations
  • Partial months — we do not offer pro-rated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations unless required by applicable law

EU Consumer Rights

If you are an individual consumer (not purchasing for professional purposes) within the European Union, you may have additional rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Right of withdrawal

EU consumers typically have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. However, by beginning use of the Service before this 14-day period expires, you acknowledge and agree that the right of withdrawal is waived for the portion of the service already consumed, as permitted by Article 14(3) of the Directive.

If you have not yet used the Service at all, you retain the full 14-day right of withdrawal and may request a complete refund.

Note: Pricevo is designed for professional use. If you are purchasing as a professional or business, consumer withdrawal rights do not apply. If you are an individual consumer, please contact us before subscribing if you have any questions.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

Send a request to hello@pricevo.io with the subject line "Refund Request".

Provide details
Include your registered email address, the date of the charge, the amount, and a brief reason for your request.

We review your request
We will assess your request within 3 business days and let you know the outcome.

Refund issued via Paddle
If approved, we initiate the refund through Paddle. You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle.

Processing Time

Once a refund is approved and initiated through Paddle:

  • Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days
  • Bank transfer: Up to 10 business days depending on your bank

Processing times are determined by your bank or payment provider, not by Pricevo or Paddle. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us.

Cancellation

Cancellation and refunds are separate actions. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.

To cancel your subscription:

  • Go to Account Settings → Subscription and click "Cancel subscription"
  • Or email hello@pricevo.io and we will cancel it for you

After cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of the current paid billing period. Your account and search history are retained for 60 days after expiry in case you wish to resubscribe.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We can typically resolve disputes faster and more simply than through a formal chargeback process.

Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension pending investigation. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unwarranted, we reserve the right to pursue recovery through legal means.

For EU consumers, if we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
